Exhibition Preface
The current era is facing unprecedented changes, and there is an urgent need for new concepts and methods to examine the changes and respond to the new challenges of the human world. Design, as an innovative expected action, is gradually evolving from a focus on things, users, society, and nature to a focus on the future. Design Futures, as a discipline based on design, futurism, and prediction, brings diverse perspectives and inspires us to explore directions in the unevenly distributed future signal cluster.
As the first academic research-oriented exhibition in China with the theme of "Future Scenery", this exhibition will showcase tools and achievements in the intersection of design and futurism, helping us imagine the development trends of human society. This exhibition will showcase the diverse perspectives, capability system diagrams, method tool diagrams, and evolutionary context diagrams of design futurism to the audience, presenting the future cone and alternative future, interdisciplinary knowledge and capability construction, future research evolution and design transformation trends, design foresight process methods, and futuristic toolsets. Through visualization, the emerging interdisciplinary field of design futurism will be popularized and envisioned to the public.
The exhibition works will revolve around three unit themes: "Empathetic Prototype", "Digital Field", and "New Space Narrative", leading the audience to explore the empathy and symbiosis between humans and AI, the evolution of smart cities, and the vision of living in space. Through the design and development of the research group, a diverse future scene will be displayed. The future vision aims to inspire viewers to think about the future, feel and experience the potential of "designing the future". "Designing the future" is not only an academic concept, but also a call to action, calling on the public to jointly participate in the construction of the future landscape, and to create a better and more desirable future with open thinking and rich imagination.

Exhibition Summary
—
Since its opening, the Future Scenery Exhibition has received attention and coverage from all sectors of society. We attempt to use the Future Scenery as a key to unlocking the future, inferring it through prototype design and spatial narrative, and shaping collective imagination. It continues to inspire our imagination of the unknown ahead, based on designing future tools to make the unknown and imagined future within reach. "Designing the future" is not only an academic concept, but also a call to action, calling on the public to jointly participate in the construction of the future landscape, and to create a better and more desirable future with open thinking and rich imagination.
Subsequent to this exhibition, workshops and salons have also been launched to deepen and expand our topics, applying our theories and methods to different fields, and launching our series of exhibitions overseas. The best way to predict the future is to create the future. During the exhibition, the audience and citizens also followed the curators and designers to explore and create their own future scenery.

Exhibition Content
In the context of the Anthropocene, we are facing a series of urgent solutions, such as sustainable development, climate change, and post human thinking. As Einstein said, "You cannot solve a problem at the same level of thinking that creates it." This means that in order to effectively solve these problems, we need to constantly upgrade and refresh our way of thinking. Design Futurology has emerged, integrating the perspectives of multiple disciplines such as design, futurism, philosophy, sociology, and anthropology, encouraging forward-looking and inspiring ways to explore and create meaningful futures. It cultivates strategic innovative talents with future shaping power, leads the trend of social and industrial transformation, and jointly creates a more desirable new form of human civilization. In this section, we present subject icons such as multi perspective diagrams, capability system diagrams, method tool diagrams, and evolutionary context diagrams to comprehensively present and introduce the definition and design methods of the future to the public.

Evolutionary Context
Empathetic prototypes showcase a variety of products that have emerged from the technological revolution led by artificial intelligence. At present, artificial intelligence products are gradually becoming in line with people's understanding of "intelligence". They can not only handle various complex tasks, but also engage in natural communication, dialogue, emotional interaction with humans, and so on. Therefore, the direction of design will no longer be limited to interactive functions, aesthetic appearance, material properties, etc., but will expand to intelligent properties such as dialogue modes, behavioral expression, emotional communication, etc; The perspective of design is no longer just about how to meet user needs and enhance user experience, but about how to build a social and emotional integration relationship between people and products.

The "Digital Field" exhibition area showcases scenes of reconstructing the real world with future thinking to the audience. Digital technology and innovative applications have prompted people to rethink the relationship between humans and technology, humans and cities, and humans and nature. Technology has provided cities with a more intelligent and convenient environment, and has also brought about significant changes in people's lifestyles and work styles. Meanwhile, humanistic relationships are also one of the focal points of attention in these works. We attempt to explore the interaction between people, the relationship between people and technology, and the connection between people and the environment. In the digital field, how people adapt to the new technological environment, and how to maintain human touch and social cohesion have become important issues. These works attempt to convey the concept of human respect, cooperation, and coexistence, exploring the importance of mutual understanding and support among humans.

In the past, "space" was a distant topic, with romantic gazing at the stars and unattainable contemplation. With the arrival of the new space age, the space field itself is not only rapidly developing, but also a key factor in promoting growth in other fields, providing a huge driving force for exploring innovation both inside and outside the Earth. The proposal of space tourism, Mars tours, and other projects shows that living in space will become a possibility for the long-term future, and with it, the way objects and space design are thought about in space will also change.
The "New Space Narrative" exhibition area takes "space related items" as the trigger point for space narratives, drawing inspiration from books related to space technology and space travel. Through three parts: the future fairy tale, 30 items popularized for civilian use after aerospace research and development, extraterrestrial mystery, and the series of course works on living in space, the exhibition invites audiences to jointly conceive a new vision of space livability, thinking about how we will embark on our journey, In what kind of way to land in the mysterious space, and in what kind of way to settle in the vast universe.
We have set up an interactive segment in the exhibition hall, inviting the audience present to participate in co creating space stories.
